About this feature:
Service oriented architecture - environments in which loosely coupled services are developed, deployed, and reused in a managed, orchestrated manner to support processes across the organization - is seen as the most promising strategy yet for aligning technology with the needs of the business. To succeed, SOA-enabled services need to span the enterprise, offering reusability and economies of scale.
To gauge the extent of SOA and enterprise service adoption across enterprises, and the role of federated messaging solutions to better facilitate enterprise adoption, ebizQ conducted an online survey in January 2008. This paper shares the results of the SOA Survey, along with ebizQ’s observations on this important technology area.
Also, be sure to watch the ON-DEMAND webinar, which discusses the key findings of this survey.
