No two SOA deployments are alike, even within the same company. Service-oriented architecture is a popular and successful approach being undertaken by most companies, but there is still a lot of work to do before many application portfolios are truly "SOA-enabled."
A new survey, conducted by ebizQ for IBM, finds that most SOA efforts at this time are scattered haphazardly across multiple business units or among project based development and integration teams. In fact, few efforts are part of a considered top-down enterprise perspective or strategy. In this informative Webinar, we will explore some of the strategies -- such as ESB deployments -- companies are employing to federate these "islands" of emerging SOAs across their enterprises, as well as the challenges that continue to hamper SOA development and deployment today.
All attendees will receive a copy of the Service-Oriented Architecture Strategies survey results. It’s our way of adding value by coupling independent research with IBM’s deep and particular expertise in this subject.
