To get the practitioner's point of view on event-driven architecture adoption and the state of the event processing market, ebizQ conducted an online survey during July and August 2007. Beth Gold-Bernstein is an author and independent consultant specializing in SOA solutions. www.gold-bernstein.com.
Ruma Sanyal - As Director of worldwide Product Marketing of BEA’s WebLogic Time and Event Driven Products which includes WebLogic Event Server, WebLogic Real Time, and RFID products, Ms. Sanyal is responsible for product strategy, positioning and messaging, go to market, and long term product vision.
Prior to joining BEA, Ms. Sanyal was the Senior Director and Head of Product Management for Vitria. In that role, she was responsible for Vitria’s overall product strategy and roadmap and led the product management team. Ms. Sanyal has held various senior executive roles in product development and business strategy at Oracle, HP, Bain, and CMGI.
Ms. Sanyal holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, an MS in Computer Science, and a BS in Physics.
