Jim Sinur, formerly of Gartner and now Chief Strategy Officer at Global 360 speaks with Craig Edmonds, IT Manager of Symetra as they discuss approaches to BPM and the discipline of process optimization. As part of this conversation, Sinur will discuss the importance of Process Intelligence to the pursuit of optimized processes. Edmonds will share how his experience in manufacturing informed his thinking on BPM, Lean Six Sigma, and process optimization at Symetra.
The conversation will be moderated by Steve McDonald, Director of Product Marketing at Global 360 and time will be taken at the end of the webinar for questions from the audience.

Featured Speaker Bios:
Craig Edmonds has over 23 years of experience in the information technology field. For the Boeing Company, Craig was a developer and senior computing architect in the areas of Manufacturing Resource and Process Planning disciplines for both manufacturing and assembly environments. As a project and administrative manager for DHL/Airborne Express, Craig supported Supply Chain Management with back office systems. He led the effort to develop their large-scale eCommerce Web Shipping applications. These experiences meld perfectly as an IT Manager for Symetra Financial. He currently supports a number of projects including Business Optimization and its integration with Symetra's Lean Six Sigma Initiative. Symetra Financial is a family of companies with a half-century of experience providing retirement plans, employee benefits, annuities and life insurance through independent advisors and agents nationwide.
Jim Sinur is the Chief Strategy Officer for Global360 and is responsible for the advancement of Global 360's products in the BPM and Process Intelligence markets. He also leads the company's Best Practices Success initiatives to ensure that Global 360 customers deploy their new solutions more efficiently. In addition, Jim is involved with accelerating acquisitions.
Prior to joining Global 360, Jim Sinur served as a VP and Distinguished Analyst at Gartner Research where he researched topics including BPM, business modeling, business activity monitoring and process intelligence technologies. During his tenure, he was instrumental in the creation of Gartner's first "Hype Cycle" and regularly contributed to the BPM & Rules Magic Quadrant.
From 1988 to 1992, Jim Sinur served as the Director of Worldwide Technologies for American Express. While there, Sinur was responsible for the development of the companyÍs model-driven merchant management system. He was also instrumental in the development of American Express' broader architecture strategy, data and database administration and the company's advanced technologies. Before joining American Express, Sinur spent 18 years at Northwestern Mutual Life, where he was involved in the design and building of business-critical applications in the investment and annuity departments. Additionally, Sinur led the development of the company's Underwriting Workbench.
