Chip Vanek has over 14 years experience as a senior-level IT executive at multiple technology companies. His responsibilities span solving infrastructure issues for rapidly growing startups to dealing with enterprise-level challenges at a Fortune 500 company. At Magma Design Automation, an EDA startup with explosive growth, Chip won the prestigious salesforce.com "Top Customizer" award for integrating a 650 seat salesforce.com installation with customer service and product development applications, providing worldwide customer and operational visibility.
As CTO of Upcast, Chip created an innovative and scalable content sharing platform and solutions for marketing automation, scorecard assessments and customer support. At Hewlett-Packard Chip held a variety of corporate IT management positions supporting internal customers, providing technical domain expertise in middleware and internet technologies and overall architecture leadership to ensure interoperability. This included being the lead architect for eBusiness activities and building a companywide distributed application infrastructure.
Chip completed coursework for a M.S. in Telecommunications and holds a B.S. in physics with a minor in computer science from the University of Colorado.
Chandar Pattabhiram has over 14 years experience in product marketing, product management and management consulting. Currently the Vice President of Product Marketing at Cast Iron Systems, he is responsible for go-to-market strategies, product launches, positioning, pricing, sales and channel enablement, and solutions marketing. Previously, as a Senior Product Manager at Jamcracker, the industry's first marketplace for Software-as-a-Service applications, Chandar was responsible for the provisioning and integration product lines and helped launch Jamcracker's channel business with Telco providers.
As a Manager at Andersen Consulting, Chandar was responsible for leading large teams delivering a variety of management consulting projects ranging from logistics improvement and order accuracy measurements to retail store strategies and balanced scorecards for Fortune 500 companies. He was also the project leader on a joint SAP-Andersen Consulting initiative in Germany to create an industry solution for Convenience stores. As a Senior Consultant, Chandar drove a myriad of business process re-engineering and ERP selection efforts.
As a Senior Business Analyst with Compucom Systems he drove a variety of process definition initiatives in the order management, warehousing and procurement areas. Chandar has a Masters in Management from the University of Texas and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology (India).
