Mergers and acquisitions among communications operators have increased the complexity of internal systems, and resulted in multiple repositories of customer information. At the same time, new technologies and new competition require more responsiveness to customers and a better customer experience. Knowing who your customers are, and what they want is critical to surviving in the current communications market.
Customer Data Integration (CDI) is one way to address these issues. By linking all of your data about a customer or a household into a Single Customer View (SCV), you drive down support costs, enable effective up selling and improve customer retention.
But, it's not easy. Your customer data is in multiple systems and these systems were built at different times, by different developers, using different architectures and different data models.
This webinar will show you an approach that can address these challenges -- an approach that has prove n successful in more than a dozen different industries. Sun's CDI solutions are flexible and extensible. And, the best practices that Sun has developed over years of implementations can be applied to your project to ensure success.
In this webinar, we will discuss:
- what role Customer Data Integration plays in the telecom industry;
- which architectural options you should consider in implementing Customer Data Integration;
- what functionality is essential to successful Customer Data Integration;
- which best practices apply to successful Customer Data Integration.
Sun has software infrastructure products, blueprints, partners and expertise to help you meet the challenges of today's business environment. Join us on February 21 and on future webinars to find out more.
