SOA is fundamentally changing the relationship between business and IT. Through closer alignment with business objectives, IT is increasingly responsible for the successful execution of business strategy to deliver competitive advantage. The consequences of operational errors or failures to comply with Service Level Agreements (SLA) can be severe. To automate business process without the ability to quickly assess business health and respond to exceptions is very risky. Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) running on an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) eliminates these concerns by providing real-time visibility into automated IT systems and business execution to ensure that business commitments and customer expectations can always be met. Join Cape Clear and Systar to learn how the integration of BAM with an ESB is helping to maximize the value of SOA.

This highly informational webinar will:
  • Review key aspects of BAM benefits, terminology and technology
  • Describe the key monitoring 'perspectives' for business and technical users
  • Describe the specific benefits of leveraging an ESB to power BAM
  • Outline strategies for maximizing the value of and visibility into a SOA through BAM
  • Detail a sample scenario of monitoring a complex, multi-party supply chain management application
