Featured Speaker Bios:
Clay House has over 19 years of professional IT experience. He spent the first 17 years of his career with Weyerhaeuser where he held a variety of positions covering virtually all functions of IT. While at Weyerhaeuser, Mr. House developed a Service Oriented framework for application development in 1996 before transferring to the Corporate Headquarters where he led a team in the design and development of the company's EAI strategy. From there, he formed and managed the companyÍs e-Commerce practice before moving into Enterprise Architecture where he had architectural accountability for all enterprise-wide systems including SAP, PeopleSoft, Identity Management, and Shared Services. Mr. House joined CareFirst Inc., the not-for-profit, non-stock, parent company of CareFirst of Maryland, Inc. and Group Hospitalization and Medical Services, Inc., affiliates that do business as CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in MD, DE, DC, and Northern VA. At CareFirst, he is a strategic Enterprise Architect. One of his accountabilities is the development and rollout of an SOA Roadmap.
