Beth Gold-Bernstein is Chair of the ebizQ In Action Conference Series. Beth is a frequent analyst and moderator for ebizQ Webinars and frequently writes and podcasts on her blog, The SOA/Integration Industry Pulse, which can be found here. http://www.ebizq.net/blogs/bethgb/

She is a recognized expert in integration technologies and SOA with over 20 years experience working with financial institutions, retail chains and manufacturers on planning, designing and implementing large scale distributed systems and enterprise architectures. She has developed training programs for business analysts, architects, and implementers, and speaks nationally and internationally at conferences and seminars. Gold-Bernstein is the author of “Enterprise Integration: the Essential Guide to Integrated Solutions,” published in July 2004 by Addison Wesley, and “Designing Enterprise Client/Server Systems,” published in August 1997 by Prentice Hall. Gold Bernstein also co-authored “Integration and SOA: Concepts, Technologies and Best Practices” available as an ebook at: http://www.ebizq.net/soaebook. Prior to joining ebizQ, Gold-Bernstein was the director of business integration technologies at Hurwitz Group from 1995 - 2000. Previously, she was president of IllumiSys Corp. and director of architecture planning and implementation advisory services for DeBoever Architectures. She was also the founder and director of the Boston Computer Society Client/Server Group. Gold-Bernstein holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton and an M.S. in computer information systems from Bentley College.

Gary So is Vice President of Strategic Marketing at webMethods, Inc. He is responsible for driving the company's position in the market through media relations, analyst relations, and corporate evangelism. Gary has a deep understanding of the business integration landscape, having experienced it from the perspectives of a software architect in corporate IT, a systems integration consultant, and as a director of professional services at Active Software, Inc., before joining webMethods in 2000. Gary has a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
