Deon Newman is the new Director of Marketing & Communications for the IBM WebSphere group. Prior to joining IBM WebSphere, Deon held a range of sales and consulting assignments within IBM. Most recently, Mr. Newman held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing of zSeries Software with responsibilities to develop programs for the zSeries Software customers worldwide.
Deon has an undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Melbourne and graduate marketing qualifications from Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia. He currently resides in New York City.
