Business Process Outsourcing, outsourced contract manufacturing and the proliferation of RFID technology is fueling the need for companies to engage in "real-time" information sharing across enterprise boundaries. Through information sharing, companies are able to respond to market demand, eliminate value chain misalignments, decrease costs and improve operational efficiencies.

Creating a business ecosystem with real-time information sharing is no small feat. It requires the integration and collaboration of information and processes from hundreds and even thousands of business partners. Companies are also faced with implementing and maintaining supply chain software, technology and services to manage their integrated ecosystem on an ongoing basis.

Companies that have developed real-time business ecosystems are realizing that information sharing is more than an effective partner collaboration tool. It's becoming a strategic asset. One recent study concluded that information sharing with its ecosystem of partners is the single largest contributor to Wal-Mart's margin advantage. Notably, information sharing yielded a six percent margin

This hour-long Webinar will explore:
  • Advantages of dynamic information sharing through an integrated business ecosystem
  • Developing information sharing capabilities that produce strategic assets
  • Scaleable solutions for large trading partner communities that enable cost-effective information sharing
  • Best practices from the company responsible for integrating and managing B2B Partners of Cisco Systems and Arrow Electronics
