Featured Speaker Bios:

Jeanne Baker currently serves as BPM Analyst for Cedar Consulting, an IT strategy and execution services company that assists clients plan and implement practices that better leverage their business and IT assets.

Baker is also chairman of the Business Process Management Initiative (BPMI), an Object Management Group (OMG) Steering Committee which promotes standards for BPM design, deployment, execution, maintenance and optimization.

Baker is a subject matter expert and industry thought leader in the areas of Business Process Management, B2B Integration and Service Oriented Architecture. She has authored more than a dozen articles for industry publications such as Internet World and Business Integration Journal and is a frequent guest speaker at conferences hosted by Yankee, Gartner, ebizQ, Delphi, Brainstorm and others on the topics of multi-enterprise collaboration, service-oriented architecture, enterprise integration, use-case-driven development and business process management.

Baker worked for Sterling Commerce from 1996-2006, where she most recently served as Vice President of Tehcnology, a role in which she shaped and articulated the $500 million software vendor's product strategy. Prior to that, she held various positions including Vice President of Solutions Engineering, Product Strategy Director and Product Development Director.

Before joining Sterling Commerce, Baker worked in the information technology industry for ten years in software development and research positions for Comshare and the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan (ERIM).

She holds a B.S. degree in marketing from Indiana University and a Masters in mathematics from Eastern Michigan University. Baker also earned a graduate certificate in artificial intelligence from Eastern Michigan University.
