Beth Gold-Bernstein is Chair of the ebizQ In Action Conference Series. Beth is a frequent analyst and moderator for ebizQ Webinars and frequently writes and podcasts on her blog, The SOA/Integration Industry Pulse, which can be found here. http://www.ebizq.net/blogs/bethgb/

She is a recognized expert in integration technologies and SOA with over 20 years experience working with financial institutions, retail chains and manufacturers on planning, designing and implementing large scale distributed systems and enterprise architectures. She has developed training programs for business analysts, architects, and implementers, and speaks nationally and internationally at conferences and seminars. Gold-Bernstein is the author of “Enterprise Integration: the Essential Guide to Integrated Solutions,” published in July 2004 by Addison Wesley, and “Designing Enterprise Client/Server Systems,” published in August 1997 by Prentice Hall. Gold Bernstein also co-authored “Integration and SOA: Concepts, Technologies and Best Practices” available as an ebook at: http://www.ebizq.net/soaebook. Prior to joining ebizQ, Gold-Bernstein was the director of business integration technologies at Hurwitz Group from 1995 - 2000. Previously, she was president of IllumiSys Corp. and director of architecture planning and implementation advisory services for DeBoever Architectures. She was also the founder and director of the Boston Computer Society Client/Server Group. Gold-Bernstein holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton and an M.S. in computer information systems from Bentley College.

Robert Anderson is a consulting product marketing manager within the PATROL Enterprise Applications Management line of business at BMC Software, Inc. (NYSE: BMCS), a leader in enterprise systems management.

In his role, Anderson focuses on market strategy and development of BMC Software’s Internet and Web services management products, including PATROL Internet Server Manager. Prior to taking this role in late 2002, Anderson was a lead product developer at BMC since 1999.

Anderson joined BMC Software, Inc. in 1996, when he led Unix systems management in BMC’s IT department. He has used his IT background to help set BMC’s Internet and Web services management product direction.

Prior to BMC Software, Inc., beginning in 1991, Anderson was a strong proponent of the commercialization of the World Wide Web, working to help establish the online presence of the Houston Chronicle and to further adoption of Internet services at the University of Texas - Houston.
