Jon Pellant is Chief Technologist for Pegasystems. In this role, Pellant supports key sales and partnering initiatives through such activities as architectural presentations to customers, speaking at trade shows and conferences, analyst relationships, developing thought leadership papers, and providing market and product feedback to the PegaRULES Process Commander management team. Prior to joining Pegasystems, Pellant served as Vice President of Technology for Firepond, where he managed the technical direction of Firepond's product suite. Before his eight years with Firepond, Jon held positions with the University of Minnesota, engaged in Decision Support Systems (DSS) research, and Nortel, where he designed digital network switching systems. Pellant holds a Masters of Science and Electronic Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota.

Eric Harnden is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of AgencyPort, a software company focused on building best-of-breed software that improves traditional distribution and underwriting efficiency for the insurance industry. Prior to AgencyPort, he was manager of the eCommerce Development group at John Hancock Financial Services, Inc., a 50 person team that created a number of award-winning transactional eBusiness site in the insurance industry. Eric regularly speaks at eCommerce and insurance industry conferences. Eric holds a bachelor's degree from Connecticut College.
