Topic:
This webinar will detail the advantages of using the Eclipse open-source platform for application development, and explain the specific benefits it has for creating an integrated enterprise in various industries.

Eclipse is an open-source development platform for tool-building. Supported by leading tool providers that include Sybase, IBM, and SAP, the platform is available for use under a common public license that provides royalty-free source code and worldwide redistribution rights. The Eclipse platform provides tool developers with the ultimate in flexibility and control over their software technology. One of the advantages of Eclipse is the vast abundance of plug-ins. Using the Eclipse platform, companies have hundreds of industry-specific solutions available for quickly creating applications at their disposal. And, because it is open-source, companies that use an Eclipse tool from one vendor can still use plug-ins from any other Eclipse vendor.

Marc Erickson, Communications Manager with Eclipse will participate in the Q&A section

Why You Should Attend:

  • Learn how Eclipse can improve application performance, stability and robustness
  • Understand the specific benefits of eclipse to the different industries
