Tina Groves is a senior product manager with IBM, focussing on how IBM's business event processing products address customer needs. Tina brings over 20 years of experience to the role, complemented by a degree in Computer Science. The first half of her career was an information systems consultant. One significant project where she was a key contributor was selected for the Smithsonian Institute's Time Capsule in 1995 as it exemplified the power of combining leading edge technologies at the time.
Tina was first a product manager for the Cognos products where she was a popular speaker at Cognos user conferences and worked closely with customers to ensure their requirements were met. She was awarded a design patent and numerous recognition awards for bringing 2 new, innovative products to market. She joined the WebSphere team in 2008 to focus on product strategy for business events.
