Mike Darretta, Government Solutions Architect at Red Hat, has 15+ years experience in software engineering and project management, primarily in the government sector. Prior to joining Red Hat this year, Mike worked 5 years as a Navy contractor both for CSC and QinetiQ NA. He also served several years as an Air Force contractor for Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics. He, his wife and two children reside in Tracy, California
Dan Risacher is a member of the DoD CIO's staff of "net-centric evangelists" advocating the net-centric transformation of the Defense Department for improved information sharing and collaboration. The staff of policy analysts promotes community implementation of the DoD’s Net-Centric Data and Services Strategies to make information visible, accessible, and understandable, as well as promoting the use of service-oriented architectures across the DoD enterprise. Dan’s particular focus has been on the issues relating to use open source software and open source methodologies in the DoD.
Dave Chesebrough is the President of the Association for Enterprise Information (AFEI). AFEI provides industry and government a framework for collaboration on enterprise information issues such as architecture, security, information sharing, identity and net-centric operations. Dave has a background in engineering and electronic commerce. His prior experience includes business and IT consulting, systems integration, logistics, training and commercial nuclear power systems design. His military experience was as an astronautical engineer in the US Air Force. He has lectured on logistics, e-commerce and IT strategy in Europe, Asia and Africa.
