At a time when markets are being turned upside down, insight is golden. And real-time insight is even better.
Until recently, real-time data analysis was a luxury available only to big financial or governmental organizations with large data management budgets. Now, however, a new generation of complex event processing solutions is making real-time data analysis more available and affordable to organizations of all types and sizes.
While the CEP market is in the early stages, many companies are already looking at deploying event processing applications in mission critical environments that go well beyond server performance. They are exploring the inherent advantages of extending their insights to events shaping the business itself.
Complex Event Processing is designed to handle, normalize, aggregate, and analyze a wide range of information in real-time. This assures greater visibility and transparency to information for decision makers and operations managers. The important challenge for organizations is to understand which of the many events that occur each day matter to the business, and how to best leverage tools such as business activity monitoring and analytics software.
Join our panel of experts in this cutting-edge roundtable to explore ways in which enterprises can learn how to improve bottom line results and achieve competitive leadership with CEP.

A lot of people are talking about Enterprise 2.0 as being the business application of Web 2.0 technology. However, there's still some debate on exactly what this technology entails, how it applies to today's business models, and which components bring true value. Some use the term Enterprise 2.0 exclusively to describe the use of social networking technologies in the enterprise, while others use it to describe a web economy platform, or the technological framework behind such a platform.
