The current challenging economic environment is virtually mandating that every industry in all geographies cut costs and improve productivity. Until now, an ERP system has been a mission-critical application for achieving these objectives. But traditional ERP systems have become expensive due to high upfront capital costs, high ongoing maintenance fees, and high costs to customize and upgrade to new versions.
There is now an alternative: ERP coupled with Cloud Computing technology, is a new innovation targeted at resolving the difficult issues surrounding traditional ERP deployments. ERP on the Cloud provides the convenience of computing capacity on-demand over the Internet. In addition, it has the same security and flexibility of an on-premise deployment - the ability to customize and upgrade, all at a dramatically lower cost than a traditional ERP system.
This webinar will present the strategy and tactics of deploying the first enterprise class ERP system on Amazon's Cloud, a case study by the CEO of a manufacturer of water filtration systems, and the highlights in Amazon's cloud computing services for enterprises of all sizes.
