Today’s difficult economic climate dictates a conservative approach towards operational expenses. ERP is the backbone of an organization’s operations, and many critical factors influence the selection of a solution. In the past, there have been limited choices: either adopt traditional ERP solutions or develop custom applications. Both these choices incur high upfront costs, a large budget, and long implementation time. The ongoing maintenance costs and complexities -- integration, upgrades and maintenance – are also prohibitively expensive.
Get an understanding of how commercial open source ERP solutions are allowing corporations to meet their business objectives at a low cost. Hear from the President of Southern Book Company, a distributor of educational materials, on how the company increased productivity and doubled revenue at a fraction of the cost and time of a traditional ERP implementation. Discover the capabilities of a commercial open source ERP solution and compare them to traditional ERP solutions.
