Miko Matsumura is Vice President and Deputy Chief Technology Officer at Software AG. He is co-author of the book “SOA Adoption for Dummies” by John Wiley and Sons. He served as founding chair of the SOA Adoption Blueprints Technical Committee at Oasis and is the organizer of the SOA Link Interoperability Initiative. Mr. Matsumura blogs at www.SOAcenter.com. Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President of marketing and technology standards at Infravio. Mr. Matsumura emerged as an industry thought leader at The Middleware Company, where he was a co-creator responsible for building the partner program for SOA Blueprints, the first complete vendor-neutral specification of an SOA application set, supported by BEA, Borland, HP, Microsoft, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Veritas and others. He has worked extensively with software startup companies, raising more than $12 million in capital for Java startups. Mr. Matsumura holds an MBA from San Francisco State University and a Master’s Degree in Neuroscience from Yale University.
Jignesh Shah is Vice President of SOA Product Management & Marketing at Software AG. He works closely with customers on real-life SOA projects to guide the direction of Software AGs products. Jignesh is also the co-author of “SOA Adoption for Dummies” and frequently speaks on how enterprises can adopt SOA to gain competitive advantage. Prior to joining Software AG, Jignesh was a founding member of OpsPlanner - a SaaS startup for emergency management solutions. Prior to OpsPlanner, Jignesh was a Solutions Architect at BearingPoint. He led the design and implementation of several large IT solutions for Fortune 500 clients in industries like High Tech, Consumer Products, Pharmaceuticals, Health Care, Industrial Manufacturing and Federal Government Services.
Joe McKendrick: Author and consultant Joe McKendrick is ebizQ's Community Manager for Enabling Business Agility and Reuse. This community focuses on SOA,EDA/CEP, ESB, Open Source, Event Processing, Web Services, Application and Web Servers, and Legacy Integration, among other topics.
As Community Manager, McKendrick will blog and podcast on the latest news and breakthroughs relevant to agility and reuse. He will also publish press releases, cover briefings, write feature articles and source content from other analysts, industry associations and vendors for publication on ebizQ.
