William A. Brown, Sr. & Master Certified Executive IT Architect, IBM (bio)
A critical success factor of any SOA is the establishment and enforcement of good SOA Governance. Key activities to achieve this end include establishing a process for SOA Governance, and creating a Center of Excellence. IBM has created a best practice approach to help companies along this road towards good SOA Governance. IBM's best practice method is called SOA Governance and Management Method (SGMM) and it is backed by extensive client testing. In this webinar, Bill Brown, one of the developers of SGMM, will discuss how to make SOA Governance easier by customizing the SOA Governance environment to meet key business and IT requirements. Bill will also present customer case studies which show how clients have used SGMM recently.

A lot of people are talking about Enterprise 2.0 as being the business application of Web 2.0 technology. However, there's still some debate on exactly what this technology entails, how it applies to today's business models, and which components bring true value. Some use the term Enterprise 2.0 exclusively to describe the use of social networking technologies in the enterprise, while others use it to describe a web economy platform, or the technological framework behind such a platform.
