Sfiso Mthethwais a Senior Manager in the Business Process Management practice at SMART Business Advisory and Consulting. He has responsibility for the strategic direction and project delivery of BPM solutions for Insurance industry.
Sfiso leads SMART’s current development of BPM solutions for the insurance market. Through industry events and print media, Sfiso has been active in sharing SMART’s thought leadership in the area of insurance and reinsurance, and the key role BPM plays in that market.
Sfiso brings a solid understanding of information technology architecture and full life cycle application development. He has been an advocate in the appropriate use of Business Process Management, Business Rule technologies and other architectures in over 15 years of enterprise solutions delivery.
Sfiso received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Business Information Systems and Economics from University Of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.
Samir Gulati is the Vice President of Marketing at Appian Corporation where he has successfully positioned Appian as an innovative leader in the BPM software market. Previously, Samir served as Vice President, Global Marketing for Pegasystems, a large publicly traded software company. Prior to that, he worked for 10 years at various divisions at General Electric and at Software AG, where he held several Product Management and Marketing leadership positions. Samir holds an MS degree in Computer Science from University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from University of Chicago.
