One of the most thoughtful blogs I’ve visited in recent weeks is by Lombardi CTO Phil Gilbert, whose blog is called Perspectives in Process. His understanding of the BPM space borders on the poetic.
He wrote recently about a trip to L.A. he made to do a pitch, along with webMethods and Hummingbird. His thoughts on that: “If you think politics makes strange bedfellows, you should try to make sense of the BPM vendor landscape. The three of us should work together, not be competing!” Check it out. A side bonus: Gilbert also talks about sitting next to the Fonz on the plane trip to L.A.!
The folks at Ipedo just started a blog called “The EII Files.” The only post (so far) is a nicely developed article about the convergence of SOA and EII. Check it out here. I’ll keep an eye on it and see if they post any more.
A veteran blogger from Sun Microsystemswho used to have a blog named “Standing in the Field,” has recently moved over to Fuego. BPM-Blog, which “explores the business and technology of business process management,” is available here. His most recent entry deals with the concept of mobile BPM. BPM-Blogger David Ogren is a former employee of Sun, who worked as a J2EE specialist.
