State of the Event Processing Market: Survey

Event processing can increase business agility by providing faster, deeper insight, and responsiveness to business-impacting events as they happen. While an Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) can be separate and distinct from a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), combining the two into an Event-Driven Service-Oriented Architecture is a leading practice for maximizing business agility. The purpose of this survey is to assess the current state of the event processing market, and discover organizations current and future plans for employing EDA.
