David Leichner is an industry veteran with significant experience in systems development and enterprise software both as a customer as well as from the vendor side. Over the last fifteen years, he has lectured at conferences and professional meetings on the subject of enterprise application development, integration and modernization.

David is currently CMO at BluePhoenix (NASDAQ: BPHX), the leading vendor of legacy modernization solutions. Prior to BluePhoenix, David held executive management positions at EAI and application tools vendor Magic Software (NASDAQ: MGIC) and Unipier, a supplier of service delivery solutions. He has also held various marketing management and technical positions at Information Builders, TRW Space and Defense and Salomon Brothers.

David is a former member of the board of Linux International and has also held board positions at publicly traded Zone IP (FTSE-AIM: ZIP) and MobileMax (TASE: MBMX). He is currently a member of the board of the Israeli Mobile Association. David holds a B.A. in Systems Management and an M.B.A. in International Marketing from Baruch College of the City University of New York.
