As your business develops, so does the complexity of its IT assets. The more complex the application, the greater the need for maintenance, and the more complex it then becomes. This cycle has led to IT assets becoming a drag on the business rather than enhancing the business. SOA provides an opportunity to break this cycle of complexity by simplifying assets, promoting reuse and reducing the burden of maintenance.

Successful reuse of IT assets is at the very core of an effective SOA. With continual constraint on resources and a need for agile response to changes in market opportunities, as well as a drive for high quality code in production, reuse of proven existing and new assets becomes essential in meeting these needs.

In this webinar, speakers Jim Douglas and Leif Davidsen from IBM will review WHY customers should invest in maximizing their reuse, HOW they can benefit from this across their business and throughout the investment lifecycle of their IT assets and, WHAT solutions to consider.

Attend this webinar to learn:

  • How you should get started and how best to plan for success from the start
  • How to design new service based applications that are ready for reuse
  • How to repurpose and reuse your existing critical assets without rewriting them
  • How to ensure your assets are not just ready for reuse, but are reused everyday, and what the implications are of that for your business
