Few can afford the cost - not to mention the risk - of a big bang approach to service-oriented architecture (SOA). So, building an SOA requires a step-by-step evolution that incorporates both strategic and tactical concerns. This session will 1) describe the major categories of SOA infrastructure products and review their maturity, 2) discuss the major reason to use or not use each category, and 3) provide guidance on how to construct a workable plan for evolving into a strategic SOA platform.
