Colosa Brings Business Process Management to Red Hat Exchange

06/25/2008

Colosa, the producer of commercial open source workflow management software suite ProcessMaker, has joined Red Hat Exchange, the trusted open source software and partner network managed by Red Hat.

ebizQ received the following:

The Red Hat Exchange program is focused on helping organizations of all sizes access the benefits of software solutions that are powered by open source. The program includes software from nearly 20 independent software vendors (ISVs) and offers users or companies that are considering open source for its innovation, accessibility and terms, a streamlined software experience from evaluation to support, with easy-to-use company profiles and transparent license terms.

ProcessMaker is already deployed and trusted by dozens of organizations across the government, telecommunications, insurance and financial services sectors. ProcessMaker will be available alongside a wide range of enterprise software hosted on Red Hat Exchange, including business intelligence (BI), content management systems (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM), databases and enterprise resource planning (ERP).

As a commercial open source application, ProcessMaker is also relied on by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that need BPM functionality to document and manage intensive, approval-based processes across systems including finance, HR and operations. The software is free to download.

"We welcome Colosa to Red Hat Exchange as one of our newest partners," said Matt Mattox, Director of ISV Alliances at Red Hat. "As we continue to offer choice to customers through RHX, we are excited to expand our relationships to include companies like Colosa, which offers an easier way for our customers to automate workflow and improve business processes."

"ProcessMaker joined Red Hat Exchange to add workflow and BPM functionality to the current offerings on the marketplace. At Colosa, we always look to support open source software, and Red Hat has created a place where world-class software can be found in a simple-to-use and trusted environment," said Brian Reale, CEO of Colosa.
