The new venture is part of an agreement signed by Oracle and the Israeli government to increase support for start-up companies and independent software vendors.

Aternity provides software that arms business managers and IT departments with precise information on how frontline users’ experiences impact business results, and gives them a path to constant business improvement. By monitoring users’ experiences with critical business applications in real-time, Aternity makes it possible for IT departments to proactively detect and isolate performance and other frontline related service-level problems, before they impact business. The joint venture provides Oracle E-Business suite users with easy access to the innovative frontline performance intelligence of the Aternity platform.

“IT executives in our client base worldwide are held accountable for the performance and availability of Oracle business-critical E-Business applications,” said Moshe Horav, Oracle Vice President and Managing Director, Israel. “Aternity provides them with in-depth visibility into how applications are performing from the perspective of the end-users on the business frontline, and with the information and metrics needed to rapidly identify and address performance challenges. We are very pleased to have formed a technology partnership that will enable our customers to optimize the performance of their IT infrastructure and, by extension, of their entire enterprise.”

“Aternity is committed to bridging the visibility gap that extends well beyond monitoring the overall health and performance of business-critical applications to understanding the actual productivity of the people and organizations these applications support,” said Eden Shochat, Aternity CTO. “Through this joint venture, we look forward to bringing a new level of performance intelligence to Oracle’s customers.”

Noting the tremendous growth in joint multinational projects in the technology sector, Dr. Opper said that “We are constantly working towards expansion of cooperative business frameworks that enable execution and support of advanced technology delivery to enterprises in any location. That approach is absolutely essential for success in the global marketplace.”

“We welcome the opportunity to partner with Oracle in addressing the increasingly complex frontline performance requirements of Global 1000 organizations,” concurred Trevor Matz, Aternity President and CEO. “This joint venture provides a smooth path for delivering Aternity’s breakthrough performance monitoring capabilities to Oracle E-Business customers globally.”
