MuleSource, a provider of open source infrastructure and integration software, announced today that Estafet Open, a specialist agency supplier of IT consultants to the European market, has joined the recently-launched MuleSource Partner Alliance program.

ebizQ received the following:

Research shows that approximately half of global 2000 companies are already using open source solutions. The advantages of nil licence cost, lack of vendor lock in and access to the source code are well known. The availability of support and access to suitable technical resources is often an issue. The partnership between MuleSource and Estafet Open ensures that companies looking for expert technical staff will have access to a pool of resources with Mule experience that are able to design, architect and build enterprise integration solutions.

"We have seen a growing number of companies in a variety of sectors use Mule for mission critical integration applications. The future for Mule looks extremely positive and over the next year we foresee rapid growth in the number of companies using Mule for their integration needs," said Adrian Wright, Managing Director, Estafet Open. "The number of consultants that we have with experience in Mule is growing.

"Additionally, the feedback from our developers and architects is that Mule is a good platform to work with, the technology is stable and stands up well under performance conditions, reinforcing Mule's position as the leading ESB and Integration platform."

Mule is the enterprise developer's most-used open source ESB and integration platform, with more than 700,000 product downloads and more than 1,000 enterprise production deployments to date.

"Every day more companies start using Mule in a range of projects from proof of concepts to mission critical applications. As a result, there is a growing demand for developers, solution architects, testers and support staff. Estafet Open has a wealth of knowledge in the industry and their ability to deliver the right resources for any Integration project ensures the client has expert staff who are able to exploit Mule, and take maximum advantage of its functionality which will be critical to the success of the project," said Damian Raffell, VP EMEA Operations of MuleSource.

"As proof of concept projects progress to larger live projects, there will be a natural increase in demand for consultants with Mule experience. Estafet Open is well positioned to satisfy this demand and we look forward to a long and productive working relationship with theteam at MuleSource," concluded Wright.
