SOA Software's Services Business Acquired by Zensar for $25 Million

Zensar, an India-based global provider of enterprise information technology solutions is acquiring SOA Software’s services business for $24.9 million in cash. In addition, SOA Software, with Zensar, a strategic partner, will cooperate to deliver and support SOA solutions to joint customers.

SOA Software, which has had a presence in the professional services field since its founding in 2001, is spinning off the group in order to concentrate on its growing enterprise software business. With the success of its SOA Infrastructure Suite, which includes the award-winning Service Manager and SOLA products, the company is the leader in governance and management products for enterprise Service-Oriented Architecture. This transaction bolsters SOA Software’s ability to fund its ground-breaking efforts in the area of Active SOA Governance, the company’s unique approach to governing enterprise Web Services from design time through run time.
