Solstice Software Reloads Integra Suite for SOA Testing
02/28/2007
Solstice Software Inc., a provider of end-to-end integration and SOA testing, has announced the release of version 5.4 of their flagship software product, Solstice Integra Suite.
Solstice Integra Suite automates testing across the SOA life cycle, enabling re-use and removing the traditional obstacles to high levels of quality and speed to market.
The newest version of Solstice Integra Suite is designed with the life cycle in mind, allowing testers and developers alike to design robust SOA testing scenarios that are specific to their individual testing requirements, whether unit, acceptance, integration, or interoperability-driven. With 5.4, Solstice Integra Suite is now certified against Mercury Quality Center™ 9.0, making it compatible with all versions of Mercury Quality Center. Solstice was the first integration and SOA testing tool provider to support test creation, execution, and management of Solstice test assets from within Quality Center, giving testers unprecedented coverage of today’s composite applications.
The 5.4 release also includes an enhanced TIBCO adapter, significant performance and scalability improvements, and the ability to import test data in a variety of formats in order to auto-generate test cases. All of these features are designed to further extend and improve test automation against the complex environments of many organizations.
“Release 5.4 reduces the cost of automating tests, the most critical factor in achieving repeatable regression testing. It provides tangible benefits for all involved in building quality systems, and we have already received great feedback from customers that have implemented the release,” commented Bob Carmichael, Chief Technology Officer.
“We spend a great deal of time listening to the needs of our customers, our vendor and consulting partners and the market,” said Madeline Bayliss, Vice President of Sales. “Solstice has proven to be not only a market leader in product capabilities for true end-to-end testing, but also the most responsive in terms of user support and enhancements. We will keep pace with the rapid developments related to key integration projects and SOA recognition of the critical role of automated testing and governance with additional announcements this year.”
