Lombardi's award-winning TeamWorks® BPM suite software represents the technology foundation that helped Hasbro, Inc. secure the Silver award for the North American region.

“Winning the Silver award for innovation and excellence for our BPM project is a great honour,” said David Adams, Business Integration Manager at Hasbro, Inc. “Users within both our business and IT units are very excited to see that the processes they work to improve every day have achieved such high-profile recognition for the company.”

Hasbro, Inc. received the Silver Global Excellence in BPM & Workflow Award for its successful “e-Connect” project, which delivers a collaborative, automated process -- designed to manage a global supply chain comprising hundreds of diverse suppliers and numerous large orders a day. It provides secure, self-service business transactions with Hasbro’s business partners, and seamlessly integrates into Hasbro’s back-office systems. The streamlined business process provides Hasbro, Inc. with a range of benefits such as reduction in cycle times, and enables its customers, suppliers, and shipping partners to be more deeply integrated into Hasbro’s supply chain.

The Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) and the Workflow And Reengineering International Association (WARIA) jointly sponsor the annual Global Excellence in BPM & Workflow Awards for innovation and excellence in BPM and workflow implementations. These prestigious awards are used to recognize organizations that have demonstrably excelled in implementing innovative solutions to meet strategic business objectives. Particular attention is paid to BPM and workflow implementations that show solutions that extend beyond the corporate boundaries to support customers, suppliers, trading partners etc.

The Gold and Silver Awards will be presented at the SAS Portman Hotel in London, England at 17:00-18:00 on Tuesday, 19 September, 2006, in conjunction with the Business Process Management Group’s (BPMG) (www.bpmg.org) Process 2006 Conference and Expo.

"Hasbro’s e-Connect project is a perfect example of how process-driven companies can use BPM to achieve real-world results,” said Rod Favaron, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lombardi. “Everyone here at Lombardi is delighted and proud to be the technology behind Hasbro’s exciting Global Excellence in BPM & Workflow Award.”
