A group of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) vendors today announced that HP has joined them in their commitment and mutual support for SOA Link, an end-to-end SOA Governance Interoperability Initiative.
ebizQ was provided with the following details:
Announced earlier this month, SOA Link seeks to establish multi-vendor governance interoperability that provides an end-to-end SOA solution spanning the design time, run time, and change time stages of the SOA lifecycle. See related news.
As the 16th founding member, HP joins AmberPoint, Composite Software, Forum Systems, Infravio, Intalio, IONA, JBoss, Layer 7 Technologies, LogicBlaze, NetIQ, ParaSoft, Reactivity, SOA Software, SymphonySoft, and webMethods.
"HP OpenView SOA Manager is the first meta manager solution that treats SOA as a single system to allow business services and IT services to stay synchronized and manageable as lifecycle changes occur," said Mark Potts, chief technology officer, Software Global Business Unit, HP. "HP is pleased to lend its support to the SOA Link initiative as it helps to assure interoperability between multi-vendor SOA-based solutions, enabling HP's single system paradigm to be easier to achieve and maintain."
