BizFlow Deployed by Brookvex

03/20/2006

HandySoft Global Corporation, a provider of business process management (BPM) solutions, today announced that Brookvex, a rapidly growing technical services company, has selected BizFlow® to develop automated process solutions for nearly every facet of its growing business.

The following details were provided:

BizFlow, HandySoft Global’s award-winning BPM platform, was chosen for its high scalability, which Brookvex intends to leverage in its continued growth. The Brookvex implementation of BizFlow will improve business processes, reduce costs, and minimize risks associated with change order requests.

“Organic business growth such as ours presents a classic challenge to management: How do you avoid the ‘growing pains’ that so often accompany rapid growth?” said Roger Shakeshaft, Service Director at Brookvex. “To address this challenge, we chose HandySoft Global as our technology partner because they are an industry leader in the BPM field, and their BizFlow software provides us with the industrial-strength, standards-based platform we need to develop the highly scalable solutions that our business strategy requires.” Brookvex has delivered IT, telecom, electrical, and security services to Global 1000 companies for 20 years. For the last several years, they have experienced significant year-over-year growth — during the last year alone, the company doubled in size. To continue delivering top-quality services, particularly in demanding and safety-critical customer environments, Brookvex will develop automated processes that can be tested in BizFlow’s Process Simulator, projecting the benefits and setbacks associated with any process change before such processes are implemented throughout the company.

Furthermore, BizFlow will enable Brookvex to roll out tested and improved automated processes to the entire company with the click of a mouse. “Once we have simulated processes that work well, BizFlow will ensure that they are consistently applied throughout our business, irrespective of staff numbers or individual skill levels. This consistency alone delivers great business benefit, especially since we are constantly taking on new staff,” Mr. Shakeshaft added. “BizFlow will also enable us to introduce continuous improvement into busy work environments as we minimize the associated costs and risks.”

“With BizFlow, companies can better manage customer accounts at all steps in the process, from pre-sales to post-implementation,” said Brian Boxman, Chief Operating Officer, HandySoft Global. “As a result, projects are finished on time and under budget, and service resources are used more efficiently, so people and equipment arrive at the right place and at the right time. For customers such as Brookvex, the reduction of operating expenses, lost opportunities and inaccurate forecasting increases revenue and profitability and decreases their bottom-line. BizFlow creates value for these companies so that their internal processes are improved and their foresight into the market is improved, as well.”

Quick Guide: What is Enterprise 2.0?

A lot of people are talking about Enterprise 2.0 as being the business application of Web 2.0 technology. However, there's still some debate on exactly what this technology entails, how it applies to today's business models, and which components bring true value. Some use the term Enterprise 2.0 exclusively to describe the use of social networking technologies in the enterprise, while others use it to describe a web economy platform, or the technological framework behind such a platform. Still others say that Enterprise 2.0 is all of these things. Learn More
