The new product enables IT staff to monitor key performance metrics of Oracle 9i and 10g databases to ensure the peak performance of mission-critical enterprise web applications. An extension of Introscope, Wily’s flagship web application management solution, the PowerPack for Oracle Database complements existing database management tools by providing an application-focused view of database performance. The PowerPack for Oracle Database will enable developers, IT Operations staff and database administrators (DBAs) to work together to quickly identify, isolate, and eliminate database-related performance problems before they impact customers and business results.

The PowerPack for Oracle Database arms application support personnel with the information they need to accurately determine whether web application performance issues are related to an application or connected databases.
