Siperian Partners With Cognos on CRM, BI

09/06/2005

Siperian, a customer data integration and management solution provider, today announced that the company has partnered with Cognos, a provider of business intelligence and corporate performance management (CPM).

The following details were provided.

By leveraging Siperian’s customer transaction hub, Siperian Hub™, with Cognos’ business intelligence and corporate performance management offerings, organizations can achieve accurate customer views that drive real-time business actions within existing operational processes. Cognos Technology Partners are comprised of software and platform vendors who offer technology that complements the Cognos solution portfolio.

Siperian’s Adaptive Transaction Hub uses a unique hybrid, neutral approach to deliver unified customer views across disparate data sources and applications to business users. Siperian Hub allows users to consolidate internal and external sources of customer data through their rules-based, configurable framework—without the need for custom programming Further, the adaptive transaction hub platform allows organizations to create higher profitability for all customer interactions, reduced customer operational costs, and increased accuracy for regulatory compliance by creating a “system of record” for customer relationship and reference data that is strewn across multiple applications and data sources.

“By providing organizations with the insight needed to make sound business decisions, Cognos’ approach to information analysis and delivery helps customers build highly successful businesses and strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers and partners,” said Patrick O’Leary, Cognos vice president of strategic alliances. “By combining the powerful features of Siperian’s customer data integration hub with Cognos’ business intelligence solutions, our customers can benefit from a single view of their customers that enables them to reduce costs, increase revenues and manage risk.”

"Siperian Adaptive Transaction Hub is gaining in popularity largely because its customer data integration hub is built to provide an evolutionary platform for consolidating data from disparate third party and internal sources and for serving unified customer views to either operational applications or analytical systems," said Anurag Wadehra, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, Siperian. "We are pleased to be partnering with Cognos and to helping our customers maximize their investments in customer relationship management and business intelligence applications and, more importantly, manage their most valuable information asset: customer data."
