Linthicum Appointed CEO at Integration Appliance Provider BRIDGEWERX

BRIDGEWERX, application integration solution provider and division of 5by5 Software Ventures Ltd., is pleased to announce the appointment of highly respected industry figure David Linthicum as its new Chief Executive Officer. David will be based in the company’s new HQ in Reston, Virginia along with the US sales and marketing team.



Previously, David was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Grand Central Communications. David is an internationally known service-oriented architecture and application integration expert. He has twenty years of experience in the integration-technology industry, and has served as CTO and VP of Research & Development with two large public application integration companies including chief technology officer of Mercator Software, Inc. and also SAGA Software. Prior to that he has consulted for hundreds of major corporations engaged in systems analysis, design, and development, with a concentration in complex distributed systems.

David keynotes at many leading technology conferences and has authored three books on application integration, including the ground breaking “Enterprise Application Integration”. He has the most widely read application integration SOA blog and contributes regularly to specialist industry columns in several leading technical journals, including ebizQ.
