A release said Cordys delivers a new generation business operating framework that is completely Web-services based. It brings new levels of IT optimization through total business integration, and the framework includes rich client technology for the Web-based user interface, business process management (BPM), enterprise service bus (ESB) and Web services orchestration.

The release said that iWay's adapters provide fast, efficient and reusable access to critical information assets. The adaptive framework can also utilize a single skill set for anything-to-anything connectivity any application, any platform, any data structure, any message type. Once acquired, iWay adapters and adapter skills can be used and reused across a variety of IT initiatives such as EAI, application development, data warehousing and business intelligence, the companies said.

"iWay Software enables Cordys to expose valuable functionality as Web services, unlocking over 280 business applications. This enables companies to effectively build their SOA strategy around Cordys and iWay Software," said Henk de Ruiter, executive vice president of Cordys.

"Cordys truly understands the direction the integration market is going," says John Senor, president of iWay Software. "We are very pleased that they have chosen the iWay Software Adaptive Framework as part of their overall integration offering."
