Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) today announced a strategic partnership with CAST. Compuware said it will integrate and resell CAST Quality Assessment Suite as a complement to the Compuware Application Reliability Solution (CARS), its comprehensive approach to quality management. The company said CARS combines automation support of established best practices with "award-winning technology, a proven methodology and expertise to help organizations deliver reliable business applications that provide maximum value."

It seeks to enable programmable, action-oriented, technical quality assessment of most applications, across all tiers.
