Tesseract, a human resources software solutions provider, and Oak Grove Systems, a business process management system (BPMS) software vendor, formed a strategic alliance to provide a workflow-enabled Human Resource Management System for Tesseract customers.
The vendors offered these details:
Tesseract’s LifeViewHR streamlines HR processes by providing a single, intuitive, Web-enabled solution for all HR-related information and requests. The addition of Reactor-powered workflow takes LifeViewHR to the next level by proactively coordinating request, renewal, and approval processes across multiple departments and systems throughout the enterprise.
The Reactor engine is being used as the business process engine for LifeViewHR to provide workflow automation for tasks associated with human resource processes. Integrating Reactor business process capabilities with the robust LifeViewHR product allows Tesseract’s customers to improve the accuracy and currency (“freshness”) of the data in their system, so that they can make decisions based on better information; ensure that HR tasks get completed in a timely manner so that things don’t fall through the cracks; and raise the level of visibility/accountability to include in-process data. It also provides a complete audit trail to maintain governmental compliance.
“Reactor, in conjunction with LifeViewHR, allows our clients to become involved earlier in the business process, providing increased reliability and visibility,” said Rick Bigelow, CEO, Tesseract. “Oak Grove’s Java-based architecture and platform neutrality aligns with our architecture so well that we can quickly integrate workflow functionality into our product offering.”
Also the joint LifeViewHR and Reactor solution offers a Java-based architecture well-suited for deployment in the customer’s heterogeneous environments.
