The vendor added these details:

“Part of Noblestar’s comprehensive approach is to ensure our clients rapid and effective execution on their most complex business and technology initiatives. A federated registry like Logidex represents a key element of the enterprise IT strategy to support this,” said Paul Pocialik, CTO and founder of Noblestar. “LogicLibrary’s Logidex addresses a crucial challenge facing government agencies and businesses by providing a tool that quickly identifies and manages a customer’s software assets; which is critical when an organization has literally thousands of software assets scattered across the enterprise. In the process, Logidex addresses another common concern by reducing costs through the elimination of needless new purchases. We are very excited by the possibilities this brings to our clients, and are looking forward to a long and successful relationship with LogicLibrary.”

Noblestar is a professional services consultancy that specializes in creating custom business solutions that solve complex problems and achieve substantial improvements in IT efficiency. Noblestar uses proven processes and methodologies, a set of well-defined software engineering principles, and an enabling suite of best-of-breed tools. Noblestar also specializes in implementing and optimizing enterprise package solutions and is an industry leader in helping customers adopt emerging technologies such as mobile and wireless technologies. Their team of highly experienced business and technology professionals draws upon best-in-class technologies, processes and solutions, including their proprietary methodology, “Best Practices,” for project management and software engineering, and taps the tools, equipment and resources available through strategic partnerships with IBM/Rational, Intel and SourceFire. As a Logidex Service Alliance member, Noblestar will recommend Logidex and include it in solutions for prospective clients and existing customers. Efforts will begin immediately to integrate the two companies’ offerings.

“Some of the world’s largest organizations are leveraging Logidex to discover and make use of hidden software assets in their massive application inventories,” said Donald Imhoff, vice president of Business Development and Channels at LogicLibrary. “Through our partnership with Noblestar, we will further extend our reach, particularly in the federal government, and work together to actively promote the benefits that software reuse can bring to these projects by enabling organizations to unlock their software assets and match them with their business and technical requirements.”
