eMotion's Emotion: Happiness Over Six New Customers
05/24/2004
eMotion unveiled another six new customers: AFLAC, Birkenstock USA, Discovery Communications Creative Resources, Genentech, Nationwide Building Society, and Starbucks.
These new customers all chose to use the Hosted eMotion Platform, the industry’s most powerful, flexible, and reliable online digital asset management (DAM) service, rather than license software to run internally. In recent months, eMotion has seen a significant number of customers migrate from licensed DAM applications to the company’s hosted service, further demonstrating that an online DAM solution is the preferred method for today’s busy, IT-challenged marketing managers and creative designers.
eMotion's feature-rich hosted service platform provides customers with targeted solutions that meet their real-world needs. The hosted service increases their productivity through smart and easy-to-use functionality, shortening production cycles through self-serve features across the global enterprise, and providing all this with zero internal IT burden for the customer. In addition, the hosted model enables companies to control their costs for accessing digital assets by only paying for the services they need. When necessary, they can add new services or scale the number of users accessing the system, while paying just one affordable monthly service fee.
“As the leading hosted provider of DAM services for marketing content, the number and caliber of customers taking advantage of our services is an indication that they recognize our proven ability to efficiently manage millions of dollars of their digital media assets online,” said Richard Fisher, CEO of eMotion. “The beauty of a hosted services model is we can provide these companies with higher value for managing these assets at a lower cost than traditional installed software.”
