RedDot Wares Chosen By InterDoc

05/11/2004

RedDot Solutions,a provider of enterprise content management solutions, says InterDoc Corporation, a company in the field of unstructured information architecture, has selected the RedDot Extended Content Management Suite (XCMS) to address its enterprise content management requirements.

RedDot provided these details:

InterDoc will leverage the capabilities of XCMS to increase the productivity of its staff by providing the tools they need to better create, share and communicate the information that drives their business, both internally and externally. RedDot XCMS offers companies, like InterDoc, a comprehensive solution for managing content, fostering collaboration and automating business processes in a way that, until now, had only been possible for large enterprises. “Our biggest problem was that it was extremely hard for InterDoc’s 30-plus integration consultants to see what others were doing, and organize who was doing what,” said Danny Boulanger, senior consultant, information enterprise architecture, InterDoc Corporation. “There were also issues of rights access due to internal and external project members and clients needing very different access rights to different documents at different times and stages. RedDot XCMS addresses all of these pain points and streamlines business processes and content management, easily and efficiently.” Quick to implement and easy to use, XCMS has a modular structure that can easily scale to an organization’s current or future needs, providing a host of applications including web content management, document management, business process workflow, digital asset management, collaboration, personalization and back-end integration. “We looked at all the ECMS vendors, many of whom InterDoc partners with, and picked RedDot for its mid-market strength,” said Boulanger. InterDoc is a very respected name in the information architecture business, providing enterprise content management solutions for countless organizations,” said Detlef Kamps, president of RedDot Solutions. “With their vast knowledge of the ECMS space and the solutions available, we are pleased that InterDoc has selected RedDot XCMS to more effectively manage the content that drives their business. Information is InterDoc’s business, whether it is providing information to their clients about an industry trend or new technology or providing and communicating consulting solutions, having the latest information is critical to their business. RedDot XCMS will help ensure that InterDoc’s employees have the right information available at the right time to get the job done.” Established since 1995, InterDoc is a leader in the field of unstructured information architecture and relies on a comprehensive approach to provide solutions to challenges related to business applications. The solutions developed by InterDoc allow businesses to synergize their information while optimizing their business processes as well as their interactions with clients, suppliers, partners and employees.

Some use the term Enterprise 2.0 exclusively to describe the use of social networking technologies in the enterprise, while others use it to describe a web economy platform, or the technological framework behind such a platform. Still others say that Enterprise 2.0 is all of these things. Learn More
