Voyence Offers New Guarantee Program

05/03/2004

Voyence, a provider of configuration management solutions for heterogeneous networks of all sizes, unveiled the “Voyence Guaranteed Success” initiative, which the vendor says “enables enterprises the ability to effectively and easily deploy network configuration management capabilities at a minimal cost, within a matter of hours.”

Voyence offered these details:

Using Voyence Guaranteed Success, customers run Voyence’s flagship product, VoyenceControl!, in production with full network design, change and compliance management capabilities. Voyence Guaranteed Success ensures enterprises will achieve significant, pre-defined milestones such as corporate governance compliance and security best practices, within 30-days.

“Voyence Guaranteed Success will allow us to get those medium size enterprises and initial deployments seeking very secure and scalable configuration management capabilities up and running immediately, with a low initial investment,” said Mark Melillo, CEO, Melillo Consulting. “Voyence has effectively sold into the large enterprise and MSP environments with their VoyenceControl! product. For smaller networks, Voyence is proactively addressing the immediate needs of the network manager responsible for a small number of devices, but who faces the same stringent network challenges as organizations with tens of thousands of devices. This is particularly important for organizations recognizing how little time is left to achieve SOX 404 compliance in their network infrastructure.”

Key Benefits of Voyence Guaranteed Success include:

--Quick Deployment – Voyence Guaranteed Success is a no-risk and effective way to realize the benefits of network configuration management. Customers are guaranteed to be up and running within hours of deployment.

--Corporate Governance Compliance – Voyence Guaranteed Success lets you achieve SOX compliance through the implementation of ITIL, COSO and CobiT best-practices.

--NSA Security Best Practices – Voyence Guaranteed Success delivers NSA security best practices through secured deployment and administration of network devices using pre-packaged NSA templates.

--Training and Certification – Through the Voyence University program customers work hand-in-hand, together, with Voyence to qualify and certify key users. Also included is an online tutorial and certification testing board for configuration management scenarios such as running discovery, setting up a user and building a template. Voyence’s training and certification process easily allows the customer to identify and prepare primary product users.

“Enterprises are buying network configuration products that can be deployed easily and in an cost-effective manner, said Stephen Elliot, Senior Analyst for IDC. "To be a long-term successful vendor in the network configuration management market, vendors must be able to address both issues while driving higher levels of capabilities.”

"As leaders in the Network Configuration Management space, we are stepping up to the challenge of enhancing and expanding our product offering," said Susan Nash, CEO of Voyence. "Voyence has traditionally experienced great success selling into large enterprise organizations and Managed Service Providers, providing a configuration management solution that is highly scalable and supports complex, heterogeneous environments. Voyence Guaranteed Success allows enterprises of any size to immediately deploy an effective solution at the departmental level for example, using the same product platform that can scale to a robust enterprise-wide deployment over time."

Special introductory pricing for Voyence Guaranteed Success starts at $15,995 for support of up to 100 devices. The product is generally available in May 2004.

Quick Guide: What is Enterprise 2.0?

A lot of people are talking about Enterprise 2.0 as being the business application of Web 2.0 technology. However, there's still some debate on exactly what this technology entails, how it applies to today's business models, and which components bring true value. Some use the term Enterprise 2.0 exclusively to describe the use of social networking technologies in the enterprise, while others use it to describe a web economy platform, or the technological framework behind such a platform. Still others say that Enterprise 2.0 is all of these things. Learn More
