PathScale, developer of software and hardware solutions designed rate the performance and efficiency of Linux clusters, debuted its FastPath hannel Partner Program.

The FastPath Program is a worldwide channel partner program that enables AMD64 system OEMs and integrators to accelerate sales, increase profitability and enhance the performance of the Opteron systems they deliver to their customers by including the PathScale EKO Compiler Suite. The PathScale Compiler Suite, comprised of C, C++ and Fortran 77/90/95 compilers, is the world's highest performance 64-bit compiler suite for Linux-based AMD Opteron systems.
"A number of leading Opteron system integrators have joined the PathScale FastPath Program," said Nick Bavaro, VP of Sales at PathScale, "We're building relationships with many of the finest names in the industry to accelerate the delivery of our PathScale EKO Compiler Suite to end users."
Among the first U.S.-based enrollees in the program are Angstrom Microsystems, a manufacturer of high performance computers; Appro International, a developer of high-density, high-performance servers; Lahey Software Solutions, a developer of software for science and engineering; Linux Networx, a provider of proven cluster computing systems that deliver maximum sustained performance; Microway, a manufacturer of HPC Linux clusters; PSSC Labs, a builder of custom-configured high performance computing systems; and Rackable Systems, a provider of large-scale data center deployment solutions.
PathScale's initial international reseller partners include Dalco AG of Wallisellen and Volketswil Switzerland; Delta Computer Products GmbH of Hamburg, Germany; ParTec AG, of München, Germany; ServiWare of Croissy-Beaubourg, France; NovaGlobal Pte Ltd. of Singapore; Streamline Computing Ltd. of Warwick, UK; and Visual Technology Inc. of Toyko, Japan.
