LogicLibrary, Delegata Team On Development, Integration

04/20/2004

LogicLibrary, a provider of software asset management tools, says Delegata Corporation, a provider of business consulting and technology solutions, has joined the Logidex Service Alliance. LogicLibrary and Delegata will work together to help clients manage the complex issues involved in application development and integration.

LogicLibrary provided these details:

“Delegata helps companies successfully transition to new technologies and processes while leveraging current investments,” said Leon Casaubon, solutions director for Delegata. “A vital part of maximizing ROI for our customers’ projects is reusing certain existing assets. LogicLibrary’s Logidex is unmatched in its ability to utilize current SDAs and map them to the specific needs of a particular project. The LogicLibrary and Delegata combination will ensure clients are able to maximize every dollar they invest in current and future initiatives.”

Delegata’s configurable Diamond Methodology aligns technology components with business objectives and delivers tightly integrated solutions tailored to each client’s unique environment. LogicLibrary’s Logidex is a collaborative software development asset (SDA) management solution for development, integration and service-oriented architecture projects. As a Logidex Service Alliance member, Delegata will recommend Logidex and include it in solutions for prospective clients and existing customers. Efforts will begin immediately to integrate the two companies’ offerings.

“The Logidex Service Alliance is a powerful resource for businesses committed to efficiently using existing software investments and developing cutting-edge, new applications,” said Greg Coticchia, CEO of LogicLibrary. “The tailored services that Delegata offers its customers are ideal complements to LogicLibrary’s expertise in software reuse for application development and integration projects. Delegata is a welcome addition to the Logidex Service Alliance.”

As part of the alliance agreement, Delegata becomes a business service and consulting provider for Logidex, while LogicLibrary becomes Delegata’s preferred provider for model-based software asset management. Additionally, a team of Delegata professionals will be specially trained to implement LogicLibrary’s software development asset mapping and discovery technology.

Logidex is a collaborative software development asset (SDA) management solution that simplifies the creation, migration and integration of enterprise applications. It represents inherently complex, enterprise application environments in a graphical, intuitive way. Logidex is the only SDA management solution that offers federated library support, model-based searching, out-of-the-box assets, measurements and metricsall within .NET and J2EE development environments.
