QuestaWeb Helps Vizion With Vision Of Streamlined Supply Chain

03/22/2004

QuestaWeb, Inc., a provider of Internet-based global trade management software solutions, today announced that Vizion Logistics International Ltd., a leading provider of global logistics services, has completed implementation and is currently using the company's TradeMasterQW system in Hong Kong. This system automatically produces required Hong Kong export documentation for Vizion and generates compatible U.S. import transactions.

The Web-based solution is available today to English speaking Vizion customers, and will soon be tailored to meet Chinese compliance and character requirements. Thereafter, TradeMasterQW will be localized to meet additional regional requirements as Vizion extends its capabilities around the globe.

"The QuestaWeb solution allows us to link together the exporting and importing of goods into a single end-to-end process," said Albert Wei, President of Vizion Logistics International. "In addition, this centralized system provides real-time supply chain visibility, reduces order cycle times, and improves trading partner collaboration for our customers."

QuestaWeb CEO, Leon Turetsky, said, "Vizion is leveraging QuestaWeb capabilities to deliver superior compliance and logistics services to its customers. The TradeMasterQW centralized data repository, web-native technology, and configurable business scenarios are providing the tools that enable Vizion to create a competitive advantage." Turetsky continued, "We look forward to working with the Vizion team as they continue their roll out of TradeMasterQW into China and their global network."

The TradeMasterQW application software coordinates and manages logistics and clearance information across borders; first, by managing the export of goods from the country of origin, then, by managing the import of goods through customs and into the destination country. The system generates required international logistics documents, performs regulatory compliance checks, manages the consolidation and de-consolidation of cargo, and monitors shipment delays and data discrepancies. From order initiation through delivery and settlement, TradeMasterQW proactively manages the movement of goods, distributes the documentation in compliance with local regulations, and manages financial transactions according to pre-defined business rules.
