LogicLibrary, a provider of software asset management tools, says IBM has chosen Logidex as part of its technical support and enablement of partner solutions built on IBM's Express portfolio. The project will give independent software vendors (ISVs) access to the Logidex online component catalog and search engine to help accelerate their understanding, adoption and purchase of WebSphere Application Server-Express and DB2-Express technology - core components of IBM Integrated Runtime for ISVs, LogicLibrary says.
Logidex is “the industry's premier collaborative software development asset (SDA) management solution for development, integration and service-oriented architecture projects,” LogicLibrary asserts. “Logidex's patent-pending technology maps relationships between software development assets and the business processes they support, giving enterprises the ability to manage and reuse those assets throughout the complete application lifecycle.”
"IBM's Business Partner ecosystem plays a critical role in reaching SMB customers with IBM technology; it's important that we offer our partners the best channel resources and information available regarding IBM's middleware portfolio," said Chris Wicher, vice president of solutions development, IBM Software. "By incorporating Logidex into these support efforts, we'll be able to quickly and easily demonstrate to ISV partners how IBM Integrated Runtime incorporates Express middleware components in supporting their application infrastructure."
"IBM's ongoing investments in partner enablement, such as the Virtual Innovation Center launched last year, provide invaluable resources for IBM's partners, and LogicLibrary is delighted to be a part of these exciting programs," said Don Imhoff, vice president of business development at LogicLibrary. "CIOs, systems architects and development teams around the world have realized tremendous results in productivity, reduced software development lifecycles and cost-savings using Logidex. We look forward to many more success stories as a result of this partnership with IBM.
